Easter is not the same without a Chocolate Easter Bunny inside your Easter basket. It takes style, finesse and technique to eat a Chocolate Easter Bunny and here are some tips to help you.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • One chocolate Easter Bunny
  1. Step 1

First you need to get it out of the box. It is important that your chocolate Easter bunny be completely whole before you start eating it to get the whole effect. One crumble and it is like you have ruined a piece of art. Take your time opening the box and taking it out carefully.

  2. Step 2

Set your chocolate Easter bunny down and devour it with your eyes before you begin. This is part of the ritual, you should not skip. What color are it's eyes? What color is it's bow? Is it solid milk chocolate or hollow?

  3. Step 3
    Ears be gone

    Ears be gone

There are two different ways of thinking about this next part. There are the caution people by nature and there are aggressive people by nature, but I think all of us, regardless which one we are, start with the bunnies ears.

  4. Step 4

For some people just eating the ears is enough, at which case you can put it back into the box, or wrap plastic wrap around it and save it for later, which is usually about 3 months later, when you find it in the back of refrigerator.

  5. Step 5

If you have decided to keep eating you may want to stop and pop off the eyes and even remove the little ribbon that is attached to the neck. The eyes can be very hard candy and you don't want to chip a tooth and the little ribbon isn't edible. You don't want to accidentally be chewing on that.

  6. Step 6
    Peeps

After a couple of bites, you will need to switch over to breaking off pieces of chocolate with your hand. Enjoy your bunny to your hearts content and don't worry, he doesn't feel a thing. Just save some room for "peeps".
