Things You'll Need:
- chocolate flavored almond bark or other chocolate candy coating
- pretzel rods
- wax paper
- microwave and microwave-safe bowl OR double boiler
- sprinkles (optional)
-
Step 1
Microwave:
Start by melting your chocolate in a microwave safe bowl in the microwave. Break a few squares off at a time, and heat on medium or low . Stir the chocolate often to avoid scorching and burning the chocolate.
Double boiler:
Fill the saucepan with just enough water so that the bottom of the bowl of chocolate is not touching any water. Heat the pan over low heat until it simmers, and turn off the burner. Stir frequently to avoid scorching and burning. -
Step 2
Take you pretzel rod and dip it into the melted chocolate. Cover the pretzel rod half way or entirely. Use a spoon to pour the chocolate over the desired area of your pretzel. Place the dipped pretzel on a piece of wax or parchment paper to dry and harden.
-
Step 3
Decorate the dipped pretzel rods as you wish before the chocolate dries. Use sprinkles or drizzle with white chocolate or frosting. Store in a covered container.
