Things You'll Need:
- Your Car
- This Article
-
Step 1
Read the Time Magazine article (referenced below) to understand what a "car wrap" is and to determine if this is something that you would be willing and able to do.
-
Step 2
Once you have decided that you would like to pursue having your car "wrapped" in an ad, you need to register with a legitimate car wrap service. There are several companies referenced in the magazine article.(See link below)
-
Step 3
When choosing a company to go through, be sure to investigate them and to be certain they are legitimate. You should not have to pay any money to sign up for a car wrap program.
-
Step 4
Be prepared to give the car wrap company certain information, which can include your personal address, your work address, your vehicle make, model, year and color, and your annual mileage.

on 9/30/2009 If you feel uncomfortable having your car wrapped, you should ask if the client would consider a magnetic sign. Those are quite popular, as well. Generally around 24" x 20", they usually are applied to the front doors (both the driver's and passenger's side); sometimes the hatchback as well. They peel off easily, yet still give you the chance to promote someone else's (or your own) business.
Nice tip.
