Instructions

1. If you want, you could die your hair the same shade of blonde as Carrie Underwood. Take a picture of Carrie Underwood to the salon with you to make sure they see the color you want. However, you can still go for the style of Carrie Underwood's hair without matching her color exactly. Choose a hair color that looks good on you. You will also need to ask for long layers to add texture and movement to your hair.

2. To achieve this look, you need medium thick hair that is pretty dense and long as well. If you have thin, wispy and or short hair, you may need to use hair extensions such as Jessica Simpson's Hair-do extensions to add length and volume.

3. Set aside enough time to do your hair. This is not a quick easy look. You will need at least 30 minutes. Apply a straightening balm to damp hair.

4. Blow dry your hair with a large round brush. Curl the hair under with the brush as you dry it.

5. Use a medium curling iron to add the curls to your mid layers and ends. Keep the top part of your hair smooth. Curl 2 inch sections of hair at a time.

6. Use a smoothing shine to polish off the look.
