Step 1
You can break up the tiles and create works of art, called mosaics, with the broken pieces. Simply arrange the colored tiles in the shape of whatever you want to create. Then, you can work on making it a permanent work of mosaic tile art.

Step 2
If you do not know how to make a mosaic or if you want to do something more easy, you can always take your tiles outside and use them as stepping stones. For this to be effective, the larger tiles work best, but the small tiles, when put together, work just as well - and are beautiful. You will have to dig down into the dirt to put your tiles outside for stepping stones. Otherwise, they will likely break. It may also be a good idea to reinforce the back of the tiles with lacquer so that it is bonded better, and less likely to break.

Step 3
you can also use left over tiles outside to put around flowerbeds, gardens, or at the base of potted plants to define space. This is best done with small tiles. Try painting the tiles before you put them outside to give them an even more beautiful look. To use them as a border, paint your tiles, and stand them on end into the ground defining the space. Easy!
