Detoxing your body, or internal cleansing is good to do every few months. You'll feel better and probably shed a few pounds of impacted excrement too. You'll notice that you will have less gas and feel better overall.

Detoxing is very simple. For 1 week, commit yourself to cleaning out your body. For this detox, eat nothing but raw vegetables and fruits(carrots, celery, beans, apples, bananas, peaches, grapes, tomatoes, etc.) and drink only water or herbal teas. Be sure to eat a lot of fiber (beans are a great source of fiber). Do not eat canned vegetables, meats, dairy products, or anything else that must be processed. Limit the amount of potatoes that you eat as well.

After the first week, you will have hopefully tried some new fruits and vegetables that you will continue to eat. The week after your detox, try eating brown rice, small portions of lean meats (chicken, fish) and try not to eat anything that comes ready to eat or that you just have to heat up (TV dinners, etc.). You can have a healthy new lifestyle! It takes 21 days to form a habit, so if you can do this for 3 weeks, you'll be well on your way to a healthier new you. For a more rapid detox, you might consider supplements from GNC or another reputable retailer.
