Things You'll Need:
- 1 gallon flower pot
- plumeria plant
- water
- warm weather
-
Step 1
First decide whether you are going to plant your Plumeria treed indoors or outdoors. Indoors a 1 gallon flower pot will provide a plant about 2-3 feet tall. If grown outdoors and left free to grow, your Plumeria tree will grow to 30 ft. plus easily. Once planted it is very easy to grow quickly.
-
Step 2
If growing your Plumeria plant indoors simply keep your house warm. Plumeria plants have the potential to bloom their first year when grown in a warm climate. If your Plumeria tree is being grown outside and you live in a climate that reaches less than 40 degrees F, simply bring your Plumeria tree in to a warm place for the winter. These trees can survive for months after all the leaves fall off, without food or water.
-
Step 3
The only pruning you need to do while caring for your Plumeria tree is to help any leaves that are left after they are all completely withered and dead. Most will fall off by themselves. After this happens is when your Plumeria tree can be uprooted and moved without harm.
-
Step 4
These trees need to be watered moderately and can survive in a number of soil types. Plumeria trees are so easy and beautiful. Growing your Plumeria will be more pleasure than work.
