There are people who study English for so many years and still cannot speak, read, write English very well. If you are studying English as a second language, here's some tips on how to effectively learn English.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

If you live in a country where English is a foreign language, you need to set yourself in a place where you will be speaking in English in your everyday life in order to improve your conversation skill. For example, work for an American company where English is required, join in some kind of cultural exchange program or English speaking community, volunteer to be a tour guide for English speaking tourists, make friends with English speakers, etc...

  2. Step 2

Writing is very important in improving your vocabulary, grammar, as well as your conversation skill. You can write your blog in English, write your opinions in English forums, find English speaking pen pals and write to them, write your diary in English, WRITE, WRITE, WRITE.

  3. Step 3

Reading is also important in enhancing your English skill. You can read English books, English magazines, English website, English blogs, READ, READ, READ.

  4. Step 4

If it is all possible, live in English speaking country for a while. That would be the best way to learn the language together with their culture.

Tips & Warnings
