This article talks about how to email pictures.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

There are 3 ways to send pictures through email.
    1) As an attachment in email
    2) Third party tool e.g. Picasa from google.
    3) Your own website.

  2. Step 2

If you have a few pictures (<10) in jpeg or gif format, just attach them in your email. Every email has certain limitations to attach the files and if you try to attach more files, it takes a more time to attach them in email. Another alternative is zip 20-25 pictures and attach this zipped file in your email. Zipped file acquires less memory. You can download a software called winzip. It's free. The only limitation is whoever receives your email, he/she has to have winzip or any other software to unzip your zipped file.

  3. Step 3

Second approach is using third party tool like Piscaway from google. Upload all your pictures in this web tool and share its link to others. This is one of the fastest approach. Make sure that you use reliable web tool. Picasa is from google, so it can be considered as reliable.

  4. Step 4

Third approach is using your own website. Create your own website and put your pictures on your website. You can share a link of your website through email with others.

  5. Step 5

Out of all these 3 alternatives, I would prefer second one. It is the easiest and less time consuming alternative, if you have bunch of pictures to share.

on 4/5/2009 Good suggestions on sending pictures. My favorite was creating your own website and sending a link. 5*
