Things You'll Need:
- bucket
- hot water
- socks
- cold water

Step 1
Fill a bucket with hot water.

Step 2
Keep a pair of cold, wet cotton socks and a dry woolen pair next to the bucket.

Put your feet in the bucket of hot water.

Step 4
Take your feet out of the bucket of hot water and put on the cold, wet pair. Then slip the dry woolen pair over the cold wet ones.

Step 5
This should bring your body temperature down a degree or two. This technique is called hydrotherapy.

Step 6
This won't reduce your fever forever so be sure to take some more permanent step to reducing your fever and keeping it down.

on 4/30/2009 Sounds a bit shocking, but effective for a fever since our feet are a primary source of determining whether we feel hot or cold.
