Things You'll Need:
- Cap full of bleach
- Baking soda
-
Step 1
Add a cap full of bleach to a full cup of water in your tea cup. Let sit for a minute or two and wash. My tape water is so hot that I just let the water run for a few minutes to wash my cup. It is like boiling it in hot water. I would use this bleach method one a week unless you really don't like looking at the stain in your cup.
-
Step 2
To remove stains from your teeth or better yet to prevent stains from forming on your teeth brush after each cup of tea or coffee. I do this and suspect that is the reason I don't have stains for tea on my teeth. Baking soda is a natural whiter and you don't even need to purchase tooth paste when you have this wonder around the house.
-
Step 3
Prevention is always a good thing. If you are a coffee drinker than it is inevitable that your cup will be stained. But if you are a tea drinker like me you can prevent tea stains by purchasing lighter tea. As I mentioned earlier green tea doesn't stain and it is better for you.
