Remove Tea and Coffee Stains From Your Cup and Your Teeth

I enjoy a nice hot cup of tea every morning. This morning I noticed that my tea cup was stained inside. When I use fresh green tea it doesn't stain like black tea. Then I thought this can't be good for my teeth so here you have the quickest way to remove tea and coffee stains from your cup and your teeth.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Add a cap full of bleach to a full cup of water in your tea cup. Let sit for a minute or two and wash. My tape water is so hot that I just let the water run for a few minutes to wash my cup. It is like boiling it in hot water. I would use this bleach method one a week unless you really don't like looking at the stain in your cup.

  2. Step 2

To remove stains from your teeth or better yet to prevent stains from forming on your teeth brush after each cup of tea or coffee. I do this and suspect that is the reason I don't have stains for tea on my teeth. Baking soda is a natural whiter and you don't even need to purchase tooth paste when you have this wonder around the house.

  3. Step 3

Prevention is always a good thing. If you are a coffee drinker than it is inevitable that your cup will be stained. But if you are a tea drinker like me you can prevent tea stains by purchasing lighter tea. As I mentioned earlier green tea doesn't stain and it is better for you.

Tips & Warnings
  • Add a little bleach to your dish water to sterilize your cups and silverware.
  • Always keep the bleach away from where children and pets can get to it.
  • Wash the cup really good to avoid having any bleach left over.
