No matter where you are going on vacation, you will probably need to have some money saved. Here are some great ways save money for a vacation.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The earlier you know you are going on vacation, the better. That way you will be able to start saving money sooner. You also should have a goal of how much you need to save. Because a vacation would not be very much fun, if you run out of money half way through your trip. Some places are cheaper than others, so before you go, know what you can afford.

  2. Step 2

Start putting back some money from each of your paychecks. Even if it is only 50 dollars. If you get paid weekly, that can really add up quickly. With a vacation that is six months away, you would have 1200 dollars saved for it. It may not pay for the whole vacation, but it would probably help a lot with food and traveling there.

  3. Step 3

Write for ehow. Ehow is a great way to make a passive income. So even if you can only write a few articles a day. Before long you will reach the 100 mark, the 200 mark, etc. And even if you have to stop writing you will continue to make money from all the articles that you have previously written. Ehow is not one of those websites, where you just make money only once.

  4. Step 4

Save all of your change. Saving change may not sound like it would be worth your time, but it can really become a lot of money quickly. In a few short months, you could have a couple of hundred dollars. Which could really help out on a vacation.

  5. Step 5

Combining more than one of these techniques, maybe will not pay for your entire vacation. But it could pay for quite a bit, depending on where you are traveling. Be sure not to touch the money you are saving if you can. It can be discouraging to keep having to start your vacation savings over and over. After time, it will make it feel that you will never reach your goal.
