How do you add a layout to a MySpace group? Good question.

Searching the web for answers will reveal a lot of options, including using regular layouts or resorting to a layout generator. In all these situations, you will be surprised how easy it is to make your layouts and add them to the group.

Just follow the steps on adding a layout to your MySpace group.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • MySpace Layout
  1. Step 1

If you are ready to start searching for layouts, then you should consider two important things. Firstly, it is impossible to add a layout to a MySpace group if you don't have a fast Internet connection.

Secondly, you will obviously need to create a MySpace account if you don't already have one which isn't difficult at all. If you have already done this then keep reading.

  2. Step 2

Start by logging into your MySpace account. Go right to the top header and click (more) then (groups). Not as hard as you imagined, I'm sure. For those of you out there who already have a group, then the whole thing is even simpler. Click (edit group) and proceed from there.

  3. Step 3

Once you are in the (edit group) zone, you will have to find what is known as the description section. Follow the instructions and obtain the html code that will be used. Now comes the tricky part.

Do you see the word (color)? If so, then make sure you enter that html code everywhere you see this word. A part of the code (the one with image url) will have to be replaced with the address of the webpage that has the picture of your choice.

  4. Step 4

It doesn't seem so complicated to add a layout to a MySpace group now does it? However, you will have to check for a few things, including that the code has been introduced correctly.

In order to ascertain the integrity of the code you entered, you will have to take every line and press delete at the start. Save the modifications done to the MySpace group and you will be able to enjoy your new layout.

  5. Step 5

Whether you decide to use this method to add a layout to your MySpace group or you prefer pre-made layouts, you certainly have a lot of options at your disposal. There are many tutorials covering the topic, so don't hesitate to check them out for additional info.
