Step 1
Monday-Take a long hike. Phoenix is filled with beautiful hikes that people from other places often visit when they are in Phoenix. When you are finished with your hike get cleaned up and go for a meal out at one of the restaurants you have always wanted to try.
-
Step 2
Tuesday-Go fishing in Prescott. Links Lake is a very nice lake and a very nice way to escape the heck tick busy Phoenix life. Pack a cooler and rent a little boat. Then spend the day relaxing by the lake.
-
Step 3
Wednesday-Stay at a hotel with a nice pool. The Hilton Squaw Peak has a lazy river and you can eat and drink pool side. One of my favorite stay cations. The rooms are also less than $100 a night if you visit in the summer.
-
Step 4
Thursday-Go to the Wildlife zoo. There is so much to see and since it is somewhat new a lot of locals have not visited before.
-
Step 5
Friday-Go and enjoy the beauty of the botanical gardens. When you are finished have a pick nick lunch at a park.
-
Step 6
Saturday-Enjoy a round of golf at one of the many golf courses Phoenix has to offer. Then head out to the Tempe improv for a comedy show.
-
Step 7
Sunday-Enjoy a full body message. Then finish the day with a afternoon snack at one of the many wine bars Phoenix has to offer. I hope you enjoy your Phoenix staycation!
