Make Homemade Garlic Dressing

Garlic is the dominant flavor of this delicious creamy dressing. Making your own homemade salad dressing is simple, quick, and economical. Try this creamy garlic dressing on salads and sandwiches. Delicious!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    INGREDIENTS:

    3 Tbsp. granulated sugar
    2 tsp. dry mustard powder
    1 Tbsp. garlic powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. steak sauce
    1/2 tsp. white pepper
    2 c. vegetable oil
    4 tsp. lemon juice
    1 c. water

  2. Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, place sugar, dry mustard powder, garlic powder, salt, Worcestershire sauce, steak sauce and white pepper. Mix with an electric mixer on highest speed for 1 to 2 minutes, or until mixture is well blended.

  3. Step 3

When mixture is smooth and slightly thickened, turn the electric mixer to lowest setting and gradually add the vegetable oil. Next add the lemon juice and water. Keep mixing on low until it turns creamy and thickened. Remove from mixing bowl and place in a covered jar or container. Refrigerate overnight to blend flavors and chill completely.

  4. Step 4

Serve over your favorite salad or sandwich for a tasty kick of delicious garlic. Store in the refrigerator.

This easy recipe makes 1 1/2 pints of salad dressing.
