Things You'll Need:
- Devotion
- Easy feelings
- Optimism

Step 1
Every Sunday night I like to watch a cinematic tribute to my Scottish heritage: "Braveheart", pour a glass of wine and take advantage of the rest of the evening in relaxation and peace. Some choose to look upon Sundays as the last day of the week, while I prefer to view this day as the first of seven. On a conscience level, if you properly prepare yourself for the impending Monday, first day back to work for most Americans, then getting through the morning, afternoon, and night makes it less inopportune. Think of how many times you hear people complain about having trouble on Mondays. Then come Tuesday, all of sudden they feel refreshed and ready to get to business. Why not the day before? What was different? The preparation was lacking.

Step 2
Most likely, Sundays are spent lounging around, motionless, and recuperating from the weekend's affairs. The day is meant to be spent in serene quarters under peaceful surroundings. Everybody loves three day weekends, and having that Monday off is so valuable to the American worker, and thats why it takes extra energy sometimes to get out of bed on the workday Mondays. But when you need to arrive at work alert on Monday, make the effort to prepare yourself mentally for the week, and when the alarm goes off, you'll be ready to go to work.

Step 3
Sir William Wallace delivers a speech to the Scottish forces in the aforementioned cinema classic that encourages the soldiers to fight the English despite being extremely outnumbered. "Just be yourselves...I'm goin' to pick a fight." When you awake on Monday, present yourself to the world with courage and strength. Establish firm ground in the circumstance at hand. Assert yourself with morality and good intention, and never show submission. Act as Wallace does when he says to the English soldier, "I said I have an offer for you,", reiterating his desire to fight for his land's freedom. When others are not happy to be at work on that Monday, be different and take charge, and maybe you'll improve your reputation in the workplace, thus ensuring a promising future with your employer.

Step 4
Strive to start the week prepared, and be ready to react appropriately when necessary. Eliminate fear through calculated bursts of enforcement, supported by deliberate attacks that strike submission into the opposing obstruction to success. Be alert to flanking advances of danger, all the while keeping a keen attentiveness to the upcoming moment. Hold your ground, advance with caution, and hope for the best as your work-week begins.
