How to Setup a Panasonic DMC-LS75 Digital Camera

      Locate the power switch and mode dial on top of the camera. Move the power switch to the "On" position. Turn the dial until the camera icon is selected.

      Press the "SET" button. Use the cursor buttons to select the option labeled "BATTERY TYPE" and press "SET." Select the type of battery you have installed (alkaline or oxyride), then press "SET" to confirm your selection.

      Select the option labeled "CLOCK SET" and press "SET." Use the cursor buttons to set the date and time. Press "SET" to save your settings.

      Select the option labeled "AUTO REVIEW" and press "SET." Use the cursor buttons to set how long you wish the image to remain on the LCD screen after your take a picture. Press "SET" to save your settings.

      Select the option labeled "POWER SAVE" and press "SET." Use the cursor buttons to set how long your camera is permitted to remain idle before it automatically turns itself off. Press "SET" to save your settings.

      Select the option labeled "ECONOMY" and press "SET." Use the cursor buttons to choose an economy mode for your LCD screen. Select "LEVEL1" to have the screen turn off after fifteen seconds of idle time when in recording mode; select "LEVEL2" to have the screen turn off after fifteen seconds of idle time when recording and five seconds after taking a picture; select "NONE" to turn off economy mode.. Press "SET" to save your settings.

      Select the option labeled "MONITOR" and press "SET." Use the cursor buttons to adjust the brightness of your LCD screen. Press "SET" to save your settings.

      Select the option labeled "BEEP" and press "SET." Use the cursor buttons to adjust the volume of the camera's beep, or mute it entirely. Press "SET" to save your settings. Press "SET" again to exit the settings menu. Setup is now complete.
