How to Make Scrabble Tile Necklaces

Making a Scrabble tile pendant is an easy way to add to your jewelry collection or make a gift. You just need a few supplies and you are on your way to making a wonderful necklace.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Scrabble tile
• Scrapbook paper
• Adhesive
• Necklace clasp

1. 
    

   Cut out a small piece of scrapbook paper. It should be large enough to cover the Scrabble tile and the sides of it.

2. 
    

   Glue the scrapbook piece to the tile. Make sure to glue the side of the paper as best as you can.

3. Trim the scrapbook paper along the edges.

4. 
    

   Apply Modpodge or resin with a brush to the top of the pendant to give it a glossy finish.

5. Attach your clasp to the top of the Scrabble pendant.

Tips & Warnings

• Choose a thick scrapbook piece of paper so that the glue doesn't seep through and change the look of the paper.
• For the best results, use resin to glaze over the pendant. When using resin, be sure to read the instructions carefully.
