1
Open MS Paint from the program menu on your computer. You should find it under "Accessories." A blank page for you to draw in will appear.
-
2
Left-click on the oval tool in the lower left-hand corner of the tool box. Select a color that you want to use to draw the body of the bird. You will have to select a color each time you use a new tool or want to change colors.

-
3
Click on the page at the spot where you would like to draw the bird and hold the mouse button down as you move across the page. Stop once the oval is the size that you want it to be.
-
4
Select the curved line tool and the color that you want the bird's neck to be. Draw a straight line from the body to the upper portion of the paint page. Use the mouse to click on the line and pull it into an "S" shape for the neck. Once you click on the page again, you will not be able to reshape the line. Repeat this step to complete the bird's neck.
-
5
Select the oval tool and the color that you want for the bird's head. Draw a small oval or circle at the top of the curved lines.
-
6
Select the pencil tool and the color that you want to draw the bird's legs and feet. Draw one leg at a time. Add the feet to the end of each leg.
-
7
Keep the pencil for your tool and select the color that you want to use to add a beak to the bird. The beak should look something like a small triangle with the wide end connected to the bird's head, or you can draw an open beak by drawing two slender triangles with a small space in between them. Select a darker color and use the pencil to draw nostrils in the bird's beak.
-
8
Select a color for the eyes and use the pencil to draw eyes on the bird's head.
-
9
Use the pencil and any colors that you want to add details to the bird including feathers or a line to separate the underbelly from the rest of the bird's body.
