Instructions

    • 1

Get someone to measure your height from the bottom of your feet to the the top of your head. Don't guess on this or add an inch because this number will be important.

    • 2

Put your arms at your sides, and have someone measure from both wrists to the floor. These might be slightly different numbers, so take the midpoint between them.

    • 3

Check your measurements against a sizing chart. Typically, a normal-sized man with a wrist that is 32 to 34 inches away from the ground will use a standard club. A woman's length for standard will be 31 to 33 inches.
If you don't fit into the "standard" length you'll probably need custom made golf clubs. Talk to a golf pro at your local golf course for resources.

Make sure to measure the club as well. Most standard shafts are 41 to 43 inches long, but measure the shaft before purchasing just in case it is different.
