  1. Using The Self-Timer Option

    • 1

      Press the bottom part of the options circle to find the self-timer option. See the image to the left of this step to learn where you'll need to press.

      Continue pressing the options circle until the self-timer icon you want to use appears. The first option is a 10 second delay option. The picture for that option is shown to the left.

      Click one time past the 10 second delay option to access the 2-second delay icon which is also pictured to the side of this step.

      Push the down button one final time after the two second delay icon to find the option of another 10 second delay which will lead to a picture being taken, followed by an 8 second delay followed by a second picture.

      Start the self-timer option by pushing the camera shutter button down half way, followed by a full push, the countdown will begin if you push the shutter button correctly.

Tips & Warnings

  • The Self-Timer mode can also be used with the video taking option, simple change your M893 to video mode and follow the exact same directions listed above for picture mode.

  • Panoramic Mode pictures only offer 2 and 10-second self-timer use, the 10/8 second mode does not operate in this mode.
