How to Make Dentures White
Your dentures can become stained from everyday use, including drinking coffee or eating spaghetti. You can use baking soda and distilled white vinegar to restore that pearly white shine to your dentures. Prepare the denture-whitening mixture. Fill a glass nearly to the top with distilled white vinegar. Make sure to choose a glass that your dentures can easily fit into. Add 3 tablespoons of baking soda to the glass of vinegar. When you first add the baking soda, the glass of vinegar will quickly fizz. Wait for the mixture to settle before continuing.

Place your dentures into the glass of vinegar and baking soda. Let them sit for 5 to 10 minutes to allow the stain particles to loosen.

Scrub your dentures with a toothbrush. Take your dentures out of the vinegar and baking soda, but do not dry them off. Starting with one tooth, scrub the front and back in firm circular motions. The mild abrasive nature of the baking soda removes stubborn stains. Dip the toothbrush back into the cup of baking soda and vinegar often to make sure you are brushing with vinegar to whiten and baking soda to scrub. Continue brushing each tooth individually for a good 30 seconds.

Rinse and clean your dentures. Let your dentures sit under warm running water for about 30 seconds while lightly brushing off the baking soda with your hand. Brush your dentures with a toothbrush and toothpaste for a final cleaning.

Soak your dentures overnight. After scrubbing your dentures, you should immediately see a difference. Most if not all stains should be gone, and the dentures should be noticeably whiter. To further whiten your dentures or if there are a few stubborn stains, let your dentures soak overnight. Simply let them sit in a glass of distilled white vinegar without baking soda. Make sure to rinse them off in the morning before wearing them.
