How to Draw Bones on a Black T-Shirt
Putting your own designs on T-shirts can be a fun and fairly simple hobby. However, if you wanted to draw some white bones on a black T-shirt you would have to do that differently than putting a design on a white T-shirt. If you are hoping to draw some bones on a black T-shirt you will need to take a different approach in order to ensure that the bones show up on the black T-shirt.

1
Draw the bones on paper. You should draw the bones that you want to put onto the black T-shirt on paper first with a pen or pencil. This way if you mess up it will be on the paper and not on the T-shirt. Be sure to draw the bones the same approximate size that you want them to be on the black T-shirt.

2
Make a stencil. Once you have gotten a satisfactory drawing of the bones on the paper, get some scissors or a utility knife so you can make a stencil. Cut along the lines that you drew on the paper, leaving a stencil that you can use to trace the design on to the black T-shirt.

3
Wash your T-shirt. This will give you the best result when you draw the bones on the black shirt. After you have dried the shirt it will be ready for drawings.

4
Purchase some fabric markers. You will need to get a fabric marker to draw the bones on the black T-shirt. You can get these from any art, craft or hobby store. There are many brands, but Marvy DecoFabric markers are well-known for doing well on dark fabric.

5
Prepare the shirt for drawing. Get a piece of cardboard at least the size of the drawing and insert it into the shirt directly under where you will be drawing. Not only will this give you a steady surface to draw on, but it will keep the marker from bleeding through to the other side. Lay the shirt on a flat surface.
-
6
Draw the bones using the stencil. Take your white fabric marker and your stencil to draw the bones on the black T-shirt. When you are done, leave the shirt to dry for about eight hours, or overnight.
-
7
Set the drawing with heat. Once the design has had time to dry you should set the design in by using an iron on a cotton setting. Just run the iron over the design a couple of times and you are done.
