Things You'll Need:
- Desktop publishing program
- Card stock
- Printer
- Computer

Step 1
Consider the style of the event. Is it a religious event? Or more of a secular celebration? Are the parents hosting or do you want to send out an invitation from the daughter? This will help you understand how to draft your invitation.
-
Step 2
Introduce the hosts, either from the quinceanera's perspective ("I, name of quinceanera, and my parents, name of parents, would like to invite you to...") or from the parents' perspective ("Name of parents would like to invite you to...").
-
Step 3
Think about what information you want to give your guests. In this case, you will want to give the name of the quinceanera, the event's time, date and location, and the formality of the event. If there is a mass, give the time and date, along with the details of the reception. You may also want to include RSVP information.
-
Step 4
Choose the size and style of your invitations, and choose the paper for them, accordingly. If making a basic card invitation, you can make two from every sheet of letter-sized paper. Keep this in mind when purchasing paper.
-
Step 5
Use a desktop publishing program, like Adobe InDesign or Quark XPress Pro, to help you create your invitation. If making the invitations yourself, these programs will often give you the closest result to professional-looking invitations at a fraction of the price.
-
Step 6
Create a file the size of your invitation, and choose a font that will also highlight the theme of your party and go with your paper. Don't be afraid to choose fun, brightly colored paper, since your guest of honor is a teen girl. If you chose busier paper, choose a simple font. Simple paper can have a more elaborate font.
-
Step 7
Write up the information for your party on the invitation, and print and send the invitations out.
