Things You'll Need:
- Trampoline
- Coach and/or spotter
- Loose-fitting clothing or leotard
-
Step 1
Before getting on trampoline, completely stretch arms and legs to help prevent injury.
-
Step 2
Jump on the trampoline for 5-10 minutes to warm up.
-
Step 3
Make sure a spotter is in place and can help with this trick.
-
Step 1
After warming up, begin jumping straight up on the trampoline.
-
Step 2
At the height of a jump, throw arms overhead, keeping head in neutral position between the arms, pull shoulders slightly backwards.
-
Step 3
Pull legs up. Arms may be wrapped around lower legs, placed on back of thighs, positioned overhead or positioned next to legs and rotate hips above the legs to begin the flip.
-
Step 4
Knees should be completely tucked when upside down position is reached. As flip continues, begin looking for trampoline. When trampoline is in view, begin "untucking" and preparing for landing.
-
Step 5
Land with knees slightly bent.
