Additionally, the filter cartridges should be rinsed at least every 4 weeks or when the red light, indicating a clog, is lit.

Things You'll Need:

• New foam pad
• New carbon cartridge

1. Unplug the filter from its power source.

2. Remove the filter cover, foam pad and carbon cartridge.

3. Rinse the case in lukewarm water. Use a small brush to remove deposits from the intake stem.

4. Insert the new foam pads and carbon cartridge into the filter unit. Fill the filter with water and put the cover on.

5. Plug in the filter. Allow it to set for 30 seconds before you change the water flow rate.
