Having your business or product name trademarked sets you apart in your selected industry. However, others will not know that your name is a registered trademark unless they see the registered trademark symbol displayed after your company's or product's name. This guide will show you how to create a registered trademark symbol using MS Word 2007.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • MS Word 2007
  1. Step 1

    Open MS Word.

  2. Step 2

    Type your trademarked name.

  3. Step 3

    Without hitting the space bar type an open parenthesis.

  4. Step 4

    Without hitting the space bar type an "R".

  5. Step 5

    Without hitting the space bar type a closed parenthesis and MS Word will automatically form the registered trademark symbol "®".
