How to Adjust Snowboard Bindings
While most people rely on the snowboard tech at the shop to adjust their bindings it is a simple enough thing to do yourself. Having your bindings adjusted to your particular riding stance and level will help you to have a more enjoyable and safer experience on the mountain.

1
Loosen the screws on the base plate of the bindings using the snowboard tool or screwdriver. You do not have to remove the screws completely, but just get them loose enough so that you are able to move the bindings around. On the base plate, you will see degree markers you can adjust the bindings using these markers as a guide by twisting them right or left.

Determine your stance. This really comes down to personal preference. Some people like to have both feet angled forward, while others enjoy more of a duck stance with both toes pointing away from one another. If your just starting to ride start off with a basic stance with the front foot angled slightly forward and the back foot straight. Once you've been riding for a while, you'll know what suits you best.

Adjust the forward lean of your binding by moving a plastic piece on the back of the binding. You will want more lean if you are an aggressive rider, as this will cause your knees to bend more and make the board more responsive. If you are a beginner, you will want less lean.

Adjust the foot straps easily by unscrewing them from the base plate and moving them either up the foot or down it. If you are just starting out, you will want the straps higher up on the foot as this will give you more control. If you are more advanced, move it down the foot as this will give you greater flexibility.

It will take some time to figure out what is most comfortable for you. Once you know what you like best on the groomed runs, begin experimenting with different conditions such as ice, the half-pipe and powder.
