Fleas can be a problem year-round for most pets. The safest way to treat dogs without using chemicals is by feeding them dog biscuits that repel fleas. Making homemade dog biscuits that contain brewer's yeast will keep a dog from being a likely host for hungry fleas. The brewer's yeast is a natural repellent for fleas and non-toxic to dogs, therefore, doesn't pose a threat to the health of the dog, even after repeated use.
