Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 8.5-by-11-inch thin plastic sheets (available at craft stores)
  • Image editing software
  • Computer with Internet access
  • Printer
  • Printer paper
  • Ballpoint pen
  • Box cutter
  1. Step 1

Search Google images for "airbrush templates." You will find a number of free templates.

  2. Step 2

Browse to the template you want to use and click "See full-size image."

  3. Step 3

Right-click on the image and select "Save image as." Save the image onto your hard drive.

  4. Step 4

Open the image using your image editing software.

  5. Step 5

Resize the image to fit the printer sheets.

  6. Step 6

Print the image onto the printer paper.

  7. Step 7

Place the plastic sheet on top of the printed image. You will be able to see the image through the plastic sheet. Trace the outlines of the image onto the plastic sheet using the ballpoint pen.

  8. Step 8

Using the box cutter, carefully cut around the outlines to complete the airbrush template.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you can't find printable airbrush templates that you want to use, draw the templates by hand. If your printer has a hand-feed function and is capable of printing on cardstock, it can also print directly onto the thin plastic sheets. This way, you don't have to trace onto the plastic sheet.
