Use the left block button, "LB," to pick up a dual-wield enabled gun and the left trigger, "LT," to fire that new gun. While you hold two guns, you will be unable to throw grenades. Drop your left-handed gun by cycling to a rifle or other single-wield weapon, or by picking up a new single-wield weapon from the ground.

Use your gun without ammo. Using the red "B" button, you can swing your gun as a melee weapon. While this will require you to fight at a close range, you can kill your enemies in this fashion if you sneak up on them from behind.
