Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Determine the measurements for the tablecloth. Measure the diameter of the tabletop and add the desired length and seam allowance to this measurement. For example, if you would like to tablecloth to extend 12 inches below the tabletop, add 24 inches to the diameter and then add 1 inch for the seam allowance.

  2. Step 2

Mark a circle with with the fabric pen on the wrong side of the lace fabric with the diameter figured in Step 1. If the diameter of your table is too wide, you may have to piece together two pieces of lace to be able to make a full circle on your piece of lace fabric.

  3. Step 3

Cut out the marked circle carefully with the scissors.

  4. Step 4

Turn under 1/2 inch of lace all around the circular edge. Lightly press this fold in place with an iron set on delicate.

  5. Step 5

Hem the tablecloth by sewing approximately 3/8 inch away from the pressed fold to finish the project.
