How to Make Your Own Pet Grave Markers
Pet grave markers can be quite expensive when purchasing them readymade, but by making your own, you can still have a pretty headstone and individualize it in memory of your loving pet. Homemade pet headstones can be made with a stepping stone mold and glass lettering, for example. Consider making a homemade pet headstone for your pet.
Things You'll Need
- Round stepping stone mold
- 1 bag Sacrete dry cement
- Colored glass tiles and letters
- Polyurethane spray

Work on a surface wherer the mold can stay until complete. Place the colored tiles and letters face down in the bottom of the mold.

Prepare the dry cement according to package directions, and carefully pour it into the mold, taking care not to dislodge the tiles and lettering.

Let sit without moving it for one to two days. Remove mold.

Apply three to four coats of polyurethane spray to all surfaces.

Tips & Warnings
Add a picture of your pet to the mold. Paint your pet's grave marker instead of using colored glass tiles.
