Make Parsley Tea As a Diuretic

Water retention can be caused by a variety of reasons, but the solution to the problem doesn't have to include harsh products or chemicals. Parsley---garden variety parsley---can be used to make a tea that promotes the production of urine in the kidneys, which acts as a natural yet effective diuretic. Parsley not only helps reduce water retention, but it is also rich in vitamins A and C and high in beta-carotene. Plus, the tea is quite simple to prepare.

Things You'll Need

  • Water retention can be a possible symptom of kidney or other health problems. It is always wise to consult a physician if the symptoms persist. If you're allergic to parsley, skip the parsley tea!
