Things You'll Need:
- One pan of precooked corn bread crumbled
- 1 or 2 cups toasted bread crumbs (or bought bread crumbs)
- 1 teaspoon salt (or more according to taste)
- 1/4 pepper
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 4 hard boiled eggs chopped
- Cook giblets until tender, then chop
- 2- cups broth from cooked giblets, or dried chicken broth in package.
- To add a nice flavor to giblet gravy if you made it and is using the stock, add a package of Lipton Cup of Broth.
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine for sauté.
- 3 eggs beaten

how to make stuffingIn a large mixing bowl combine giblets, cornbread, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, sage, and chopped cooked eggs.

how to make giblet dressingOn the stove top in a sauté' pan sauté' celery, onions, and green pepper in butter or margarine until tender.

grandma turkey dressingAdd beaten eggs to cornbread mixture. Next add in the broth. Add in cooked vegetables, tossing everything lightly. Check the consistency of dressing, if it is not as moist as you will like, add more chicken broth until desired consistency. (It should be moist, but not runny)

Thanksgiving turkey dressingOil baking pan. Bake in 350 degree oven covered for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 minutes more.

old fashioned dressingEnjoy. For garnish, slice one boiled egg and place on top of the cooked dressing before serving.
