How to Make Crystal Light Candy With Molasses

Crystal Light is a great way to add a sweet taste to your recipes without the sugar. This also works very well with hard candy. You can enjoy a sweet delicious treat without all the sugar and calories. You can even substitute the sugar that you do use with molasses for a less processed but still delicious flavor. 1 tub Crystal Light
½ cup molasses
2/3 cup corn syrup
¾ cup hot water
few drops of food coloring
oil
candy molds

Instructions

  Combine Crystal Light, molasses, corn syrup, and water in a saucepan.

  Cook on medium stirring constantly until Crystal Light dissolves.

  When the temperature reaches 250 degrees, add food coloring

  When the temperature reaches 300 degrees remove from heat.
- 5
  
  Pour into lightly oiled candy molds.
- 6
  
  Cool and take out of the molds.
