How to Make an Edible Vegetable Bouquet Arrangement

Edible vegetable arrangements are a visually different way to showcase your favorite veggies. If you have kids, these make healthy eating fun and exciting. Edible vegetable arrangements are also a creative hostess gift that shows your guests that you put some thought into what you brought.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Honeydew melon cut in half
  • Black plastic bowl that fits the melon
  • 4 carrots
  • 1 head broccoli
  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 2 zucchinis
  • 25 long skewers
  • 1 cup salad greens
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  1. Step 1

    Remove the skin from the melon and place it with the flat part facing down in the bottom of the bowl.

  2. Step 2

    Cut all the vegetables up into about 4-inch chunks. With the broccoli and cauliflower make sure to cut up into florets and dispose of the stems.

  3. Step 3

    Stick all the vegetables with the skewers.

  4. Step 4

    Secure the sticks in the melon, arranging them evenly all over the melon.

  5. Step 5

    Cover the top of the melon with a layer of salad greens.

  6. Step 6

    Serve with a side of your favorite ranch dressing.

Tips & Warnings
  • Serve as fresh as possible so that the salad greens and vegetables maintain their integrity.
