      Purchase bee pollen capsules and take the recommended dosage. Bee pollen can be found in many health food and specialty stores.

      Sprinkle bee pollen over soup, salads, ice cream, cereal or popcorn.

      Blend it into a "Yummy Hunny Smoothie." In a blender, combine 1 cup of frozen peaches, 1 cup of frozen banana slices, 1 cup of frozen strawberries, 4 tbsp. of honey and 1 to 2 dashes of bee pollen. Blend and enjoy.

      Sip it in an energy-boosting breakfast drink. In a blender, combine 2 cups of low fat milk, one egg, 5 to 6 strawberries or 10 to 12 raspberries, 1 tbsp. of colloidal minerals, 1 tbsp. acidophilus, 1/2 cup of raw wheat germ, 1/2 tsp. of rose water, 1 scoop of chocolate or vanilla powder and 1 tsp. of bee pollen. Blend well and drink.

      For a holiday buzz, whip up some bee pollen eggnog. Combine 2 beaten eggs, 2 tbsp. of honey and 2 tbsp. of bee pollen. With an electric mixer, blend in 2 cups of whole milk and 1 tsp. of vanilla extract. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.

  • Bee pollen does not last long. Buy it in small quantities, store it in a cool, dark place and use it quickly. Make sure you purchase organic bee pollen. Pesticides are absorbed into the bee pollen. Purchase raw bee pollen--it has more nutrients. Ingredients like colloidal minerals, wheat germ and acidophilus can be found in health food and specialty stores. Different fruits can be substituted in these recipes. Simply use the same measurements and use the fruit or fruits of your choice.

  • If you are allergic to bee stings or bee products, consult your doctor before consuming bee pollen. Even if you have not had allergic reactions to bees or bee products in the past, start slowly. Use just a few granules of bee pollen per day and increase it from there until you reach around 1/2 tsp. per day.
