How to Remove Paint From a Concrete Porch

While mixing paint or even painting your home, an accident can occur and you may spill paint on your concrete porch. There is no reason to paint the entire porch or tear the concrete porch up because of the spill. Removing paint from concrete is easy with the proper supplies and procedures.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Glass scraper/putty knife
  • Paint remover
  • Protective eyewear
  • Gloves
  • Towel
  • Water
  1. Step 1

    Purchase some paint remover. Read the label carefully and make sure it removes paint off of concrete.

  2. Step 2

    Put on your protective eyewear and gloves.

  3. Step 3

    Apply the paint remover to the paint stain on the concrete. Let it sit for the required time, which usually around 15 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    Scrape around the outer edge of the paint stain with a sharp-edged glass scraper or putty knife. Remove the paint completely.

  5. Step 5

    Wipe up any excess paint remover off of the concrete with a towel.

  6. Step 6

    Wash the concrete clean with water.
