How to Get CNA Certification Sample Questions

Prospective CNAs can access sample questions for the exam on the Internet and in print.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) exam is required for nursing assistants who want to become certified. The written exam contains questions about patient care, laboratory procedures, record keeping and other skills a CNA must have. There is also a practical exam, where prospective CNAs have the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to take temperatures, position patients in bed and perform other essential procedures. A prospective CNA can access sample questions for the certification exam on the Internet and in print.

Instructions

1. Visit the Med-Care Training website (see Resources), which contains 12 CNA certification sample questions.

2. Access the sample CNA certification tests on the Pearson Education website (see Resources). Choose your state from the drop-down menu, and take a sample test.

3. Purchase a CNA exam preparation book (see Resources).

• Simulate the testing environment by choosing a quiet area to take the exam and setting a timer to the amount of time allowed.
