1
Pick your colors. The first step to designing your new uniforms is to pick the colors you'd like them to be. Pick at least two colors to differentiate your uniforms from other teams. Avoid using white, since at least one set of your uniforms will probably have to use this color as its base.

2
Choose your shorts and jersey. Make sure the fabric is appropriate for athletic competition, light and breathable. You can purchase shorts and jerseys from a wholesaler. If you prefer to make your own shorts, see the article linked below.

3
Design a logo. Now that you know what your colors and general look will be, it's time to choose a logo to go on your gear. Try to pick something emblematic of your team nickname, or of your team's location, and develop a logo around that concept. If you can't do it yourself, look for an artist through a local school, community center or the ads who might be willing to donate his or her time for some exposure.

4
Silkscreen your logo as well as names and numbers onto your uniforms. To set your team apart, try to pick a not-so-standard font for your uniforms, though make sure it is still readable from a good distance. A sporting goods store will silkscreen your logo, numbers and names onto your uniforms for a fee. If you want to do it yourself, check out a number of resources on the silkscreen process below.

Tips & Warnings
Make sure your new uniforms are within the rules and regulations for your league. After going through all this trouble, it would be a shame to have to start over because your new uniforms do not meet the standards of your league.
