How To Plan a Triple Birthday Party

When you are planning a triple birthday party, it may seem a bit overwhelming. You've got to figure out what to serve, how to decorate and who to invite, keeping all three individuals in mind. Planning a party should be fun, not something that seems too much trouble.

1. Make the guest list. Include loved ones of all three individuals. If you need help figuring whom to invite, ask their closest friends for advice. So as not to make the process confusing, write out the list in three columns with an additional column for mutual loved ones. This will make it easier to sort through the RSVPs later on.

2. Choose the venue. Whether you have it at a house or elsewhere, it needs to be large enough to accommodate everyone invited. If possible, choose a place that is close to all three birthday honorees. To choose the place, make a list according to location, visit each place and narrow down your options according to price and amenities.

3. Choose the invitations. You can send out the same style of invitation for all three individuals; however, the invitations should evoke all three of them as a whole. For example, if the party is for two girls and a boy, you probably should not choose invitations that are pink with bows. If they are a mix of different genders, opt for a gender-neutral invitation styles, such as one that is a solid color with birthday balloons or stripes.

4. Create the invitations. When you are creating the invitations, in addition to the regular information such as time and date of the party, it is important to list the full names of the three people that the party is for. It will create less confusion when the guests read the invitations. In addition, if it is a surprise party, make sure to make that point visible in the party description.

5. Choose the food. One way to do this is to choose a food that all three birthday people love. Another way is to create three separate main dinners, followed by a variety of other foods. If you create three separate dinners, you can make favorite foods as a tribute to each person individually.

6. Choose the décor. When choosing the décor, it is important to keep all three birthday people in mind. You can either incorporate a little of each person's style into the decorations or you can choose one general set of decorations that can appeal to everyone. Make sure it is suited to the style of everyone equally to help them to feel that the party is for all three of them and not just directed toward one person over another.
