How to Make Cursor Trails

Applying a cursor trail is a fun way to liven up the personality of your mouse. On the practical side, it can make it easier to see your Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) computer screen. When you move the mouse pointer over your monitor, a visible pathway trails along the screen for a few seconds. This moving shadow lengthens the visibility of the pointer for fast and easy pointer detection.

Instructions

      Select "Control Panel" from the Start menu.

      Click on "Printers and Other Hardware."

      Select "Mouse" from the Control Panel Icon category.

      Go to the "Pointer Options" tab.

      Check the box next to "Display Pointer Trails" located under the Visibility section.
