Step 1
For starters you will need to have your hair trimmed about every 6-8 weeks. This will keep off any dead ends and prevent the hair shaft from splitting up any further. As a tip if you are growing your hair out tell your stylist to just dust the ends, then she will know to just take off a little ensuring she doesn't get scissor happy.

Step 2
Next I recommend a product called herbal hair grow or do grow it can be purchased at the dollar store or walmart for about $4. This product is a catalyst for hair growth. Use it 2-3 times / week apply to your scalp with your fingertips and work it down to the ends, put your hair in a pony and sleep with it, In the morning shampoo with hot water you may need to shampoo a few times as it is very oily. Believe me it is worth the hassle (dawn dishwashing liquid will remove it in 2 shampoos) and will not damage your hair. This is a super conditioner and great scalp rejuvenator. You will need to use a conditioner after shampooing it out however. This is not a silky type conditioning it is more filling.

Step 3
Drink plenty of water and milk, there are also good vitamins you can take to help keep your hair, skin and nails healthy. But... the above mentioned oil will make your hair grow very fast BELIEVE IT OR NOT
Try it for 2 months and let me know how you make out
