How to Tie Skate Board Shoes

Skate sneakers should be tied so that they are tight and secure on the feet. The traditional knot can easily come undone but creating a knot that is more secure will ensure that laces do not come undone during skateboarding. This is of paramount important on skate shoes as untied laces can be a hazard.

Instructions

1. Take the left lace and the right lace and cross them with the right lace looping over the left lace. Tighten the knot as much as you would like, or whatever is most comfortable for you.

2. Create a loop with each side of the lace and cross them over each other creating a loop in the middle.

3. Place the left loop so that it is in front of the middle loop and the right loop in back so it is behind the middle loop.

4. Pull the laces through the loop from the left and right with the right lace pulled towards the left side and the left lace pulled towards the left side.

5. Pull tightly and the shoe will knot strongly. This knot will be difficult to pull out making it nice and secure.
