How to Organize Golf Clubs in a Bag
A golf bag is necessary for any person wanting to play 18 holes. Your golf bag can get very cluttered, however, if you don't properly organize the golf clubs in the bag. If you don't organize your golf gear, your golf clubs can even get damaged if they are clanging into one another while you are carrying them in your golf bag. Organizing your golf bag will keep your clubs safe and make it easier to find the right club while you're out at a local golf course.

1
Examine the golf bag. Golf bags can be separated into two, three, four or even six different sections. Knowing which type of golf you're attempting to organize will make placing the golf clubs into the bag easier.
-
2
Place your longest golf clubs -- driver, woods and any hybrids -- in the back of the bag (that is the part of the bag closest to the strap). You should also organize the golf clubs from left to right.

3
Put your irons in the next row (or rows depending on your bag). You should again begin putting your longer irons on the left side of the bag and work toward the right.
-
4
Finish by placing your smaller clubs, such as your wedges, in the front of the golf bag. As with the other sections of your golf bag, you will need to put longer wedges on the left side of the bag and shorter clubs on the right side.
-
5
Find a place in your golf bag for your putter. Some golf bags will actually have a pit for a putter. If your bag does not, though, you can place the putter in any row that you wish. Remember to put the putter on the right side of the golf bag, however, since it is a shorter club.

Tips & Warnings
This method can be tweaked depending on which clubs you use and the type of golf bag that you own.
Make sure you put your golf clubs in order as you finish with each club; it will help keep your golf bag organized.
