Make a Golf Towel

Some people call it the crying towel. It is the small terry cloth towel golfers hang on their bag to wipe away the sweat from the hot sun. Or, it could be used to wipe away the tears from a bad day on the golf course. You can make a golf towel from terry cloth, for a personalize and custom golf towel.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 12-by-18 inch terry cloth fabric
  • ½-inch bias tape (60 inches)
  • 3/4-inch metal grommet
  • Sewing machine
  • Thread
  • Metal towel clip
  1. Step 1

Wrap the bias tape along the entire perimeter of the fabric, and sew in place to finish off the edge.

  2. Step 2

Insert the grommet on the upper left hand corner of the towel, and make a hole in the center of the grommet. The grommet will be in two pieces, and it will clip together over the corner of the towel.

  3. Step 3

Clip the towel clip through the grommet.

Tips & Warnings
  • Instead of fabric, make the towel from a hand towel, and skip step 1.
