Instructions

    • 1

Pour a mixture of equal parts of baking soda and salt on the stain. Use enough to cover the stain.

    • 2

Scour thoroughly with a wet cloth or sponge.

    • 3

Rinse the baking soda/salt mixture off the bathmat. If there is still some of the stain left, try sprinkling some salt on a half a lemon. Scrub the stain with the salted cut side of the lemon on the stain.

    • 4

Let the lemon juice and salt mixture set on the stain for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Your stain should be gone, but if some of it remains, try a commercial powdered cleanser.

    • 5

Scrub the powdered cleanser, such as Bar Keepers Friend, into the stain and rinse thoroughly.
