How to Burn a Bin & Cue File

BIN and CUE file extensions come together, and they are image files that typically hold the contents of a CD or DVD. They must be either mounted on a virtual drive or burned to a disc to work. Learn how to burn these files to a disc in the application Alcohol 120.

  1. Find the Image

      Download and start Alcohol 120 (see Resources).

      Click "Image Finder" on the menu on the left side of the screen.

      Make sure CUE images are selected, and click "Search."

      Select the CUE file that appears on the search screen, right-click and choose "Add to Alcohol 120." Close the image finder.

    Burning the File to Disc

      Place a blank CD or DVD in the disc drive.

      Select the file to be burned in Alcohol 120 and right-click it. Select "Image Burning Wizard" and click "Next."

      Select the drive in which the blank CD has been placed and click "Start." This will burn the image to a disc.
