How to Recharge Drill Batteries

If you have a power drill and the battery needs to be charged, just follow a few simple steps to get the job done. Soon your battery will be up and running again at full speed.

Things You'll Need

• Drill with battery and charger base

Instructions

1. Use the battery on the current charge until it will barely run the drill.

2. Remove the battery from the drill and allow the battery to completely cool down.

3. After the battery has cooled, plug the battery onto the charger base. Plug the charger base into a power source, and the battery will begin to charge.

4. While charging, the light on your base will turn red or yellow (depending on the brand of battery and drill you have). When the battery is fully charged, the light will turn green. Remove the battery from the charger and plug it back onto your drill.
